Chages in the ferry schedule Färjerederiet and Trafikverket announces several chages in the ferry schedule. 1. Resumed location to Norrfjärden. From the 1/1 2016 the old schedule, from before the ferry was located to Byviken, apply. This means that the 6-turen will be resumed and the 20-turen will be withdrawn.The earlier Christmas and New year schedule will apply for the 1/1 2016.
2. Evening tour It has also been decided to try a late ferry tour the last Saturady every month. This tour is planned to deprat at 22.00 from Norrfjärden and directly turn back from Holmön. The attempt will begin shortly and run through april and then be evaluated. More information regarding the new schedule will come when this change is introduced. 2015-12-28 |

Christmans luncheon This year Christmas luncheon was well visited with over 80 participants. Sävar Holmöns Congregation and Holmön's Red Cross section invited to wonderful day with beautiful singning by the choir Gaudium in Holmön's church. This was followed at Prästgården by the Christmas luncheon with delicius food, Lucia procession and raffles. All excess will be donated to charity projects like Children of the World or Global Aid. We thank both organisations for a pleasant event and look forward to next year Lucia and Christmas luncheon.

Info and apeal regading the parking lot and junk cars During the winter we will reserve the new part of the parking lot close to the shop for winter active cars. Walter will clear that part from snow during the winter. We don not want to see an long time parked cars in that part. If you do not use the car during winter, we urge you to park it at your place. If that is not possible, please park in the old, south part. A joint action to take junk cars to the mainland will be organised in January. Not later than 15 January you should transport your junk car to Norrfjärden and the registration form should be filled in and be in the car.
